I
believe most of us grew up with Frisian Flag. It’s hard to deny their important
existence in our life even before we barely spoke a word.
I grew
up in a family who LOVES to cook and bake and lucky for my parents, their
products are just so versatile that you can use it for almost... everything.
Either you make it as a part of the baking ingredient, as the topping on your
favorite dessert, or have it mixed with hot water to make it hot chocolate, or
simply having it just like that.
Frisian
Flag just recently introduced their new packaging design, emphasized more on
the efficiency. If normally you would need the help of the can opener, now your
bare hands can do it all, they love to call it #KlikTarikTuang (click, pull and
pour!)
Call
me weirdo but I found that in a way to be VERY cool. It’s like having your
favorite soda in a can, but actually it’s Frisian Flag condensed milk, and most
importantly, I appreciate good, simple and smart design.
Their
major campaign to celebrate the launching of the newly packaged Frisian Flag
condensed milk is by releasing the pop-up Frisian Flag cafe in front of the
lobby area of FX Senayan, and I got the chance to stop by for a while to see
what they had in store. It’s actually a fun concept store where they provided
some of their signature beverage creations made using Frisian Flag products.
And
the best thing above all, YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY A SINGLE RUPIAH!
Instead,
you’re paying them with a little publication: a single tweet or Instagram post
would do, that’s already an equivalent to your pick of the available beverages.
Out of the total 6, they roll three of their menus daily.

Interior
peek! The crowd’s usually packing the area during lunch time or after work, so
if you want to bond with them you can come during lunch time, but if you want
the more quiet ambiance then come before lunch or a few hours after lunch.

The
pop-up cafe will open until October 11th, and they open daily from 7
AM-7 PM, so if you happen to work in the SCBD area or around Senayan, you can
come by before work, or since it’s weekend, before you start running in Senayan
and needed that little energy boost, please come by! There will be appearances
by local celebrities everyday, so I highly suggest checking out their website
or Instagram for more details.
