Finally
after quite some time, Grand Hyatt officially re-launches The Residence ONFIVE for public! I attended the reopening party just earlier and here I am sharing my
experience with you.
It’s
funny that when I actually shared a collaged picture on my Instagram, so many
of you thinks that it’s actually some kind of a buffet restaurant. Since it’s
going to take me a little more effort to reply to you one by one on Instagram,
let me spill it here: it’s NOT.The Residence ONFIVE is actually a very exclusive private space and service which you can rent, book and occupy for basically every event you desire, especially the more exclusive and private ones, like private wedding parties, engagement parties, a corporate meeting, and even a dinner for two, or truthfully, basically anything, as long as you have the dime for it. The whole Residence ONFIVE was this spacious area, but they can totally fit your needs with your capacity.
I like their “residence” concept as the venue was designed to be very homey, and with that classy-elegant and minimalist feel to the whole ambiance. They occupy a 1000 sq m flexible event space with 800 people capacity for a gala or cocktails! There are four meeting rooms located in the “house”, each with 30 people capacity. They also have three main terraces, and for an even more private occasion, two cabanas are located just below - what they call – Terrace 2. I toured the cabanas and I saw that they would be perfect for private family gatherings & discreet meetings, while the terraces would be perfect for cocktail parties!

OK I
started to sound like a marketing so let me just talk about the opening party!
It was just like a land of guilty pleasure for me. I just had a very pleasant
dinner featuring A LOT OF DESSERTS and what probably was THE BEST freaking
Japanese beef I’ve found in town. Seriously so good I want to cry right now! If
only I didn’t give a damn about those people waiting in line behind, I would
have finished the beef by myself! Short to say, I had a very enjoyable dinner
along with my foodie friends, so many people were packing the venue and it was
a good night! This is not a review post as I actually don’t have any idea what to review, I hope you enjoy the photos!
Thank
you for reading!
