HELLO KITTY HOUSE BANGKOK

I am in the mood to finish my Bangkok trip series because I feel like I used to be super tardy with my travel posts and I honestly push myself to finish them slowly and in two months I managed to blog almost all of my latest Australia, Bangkok and Malaysia travel stories. This is seriously a very good improvement comparing to last year where I could start writing like 5-6 months after I return. Claps for Hans please!

The beautiful Bangkok
Never ending traffic jam, Jakarta is worse tho when it comes to this.
Ok in this post I am going to be talking about one of the cutest cafes in Bangkok or anywhere else this cafe is located (sure they're going to be among the cutest), and this story was actually from my Bangkok trip last year. I am honestly not a fan of Hello Kitty or fictional character except for Gudetama, but I love checking out what they have in store along with the hope to break the stereotype that "cute cafes serve bad food". So far I have been to several Hello Kitty cafes in my life, one in my hometown, and the latest one was the Hello Kitty Orchid Garden Singapore.

When you see this pink cones you're on the right spot!
The official Sanrio outlet here in Bangkok is located at Siam Square One and came with the "house" concept of this multi-levels buildings that wasn't only occupied as cafe, but also a Hello Kitty shop and a spa under one roof. Space wise it was indeed the largest Hello Kitty cafe I've seen. The interior did not get much natural daylight inside and mostly depend the lighting on the lamps, but I must say that they did put good effort in decorating the whole interior to create the fancy home look, it had this classy Victorian touch mixed with majorly pink and pastel color and of course Hello Kitty figure in various form adding in to the details.
Stairs to the levels above
The second floor was my favorite level! It was designed to cater dine-ins and a yes a more spacious dining area with Hello Kitty head figure on the chairs. CUTE MAX!

LOVE!

It was a short visit and we did not order much, just some drinks and cakes to share. We had the Green Tea Cupcake (95 baht), Hello Kitty Shaped Cake (195 baht), and Hello Kitty Milk Tea (150 baht). The cupcake was very simple with not much going on, it was overall decent with decent texture and flavoring. The Hello Kitty Shaped Cake was something I specifically skeptical for but turned out it was also quite decent without being overly sweet, the cake mostly consists of strawberry mousse and a denser cake on the lowest layer, as for the milk tea, I couldn't remember how it tasted, I think it was not spectacular but not bad either, well I appreciate the pink color adding it the playful side to the apperance!
Green Tea Cupcake - 95 baht
The lighting inside was super yellow I gave up with the editing. The color of the milk tea was supposed to be darker like the photo below.
They also have a take away station located outside the building.
"Cute" is the impression I was left with and fortunately it was not bad, anyway if you're looking for heavy food, they don't serve one here like the one in Jakarta or Singapore. Will I go back here? Probably yes if ever I am missing the ambiance of this house, my suggestion for them is to play around with the menu and refresh the menu with something a bit uncommon, play around more while still being really cute. Cute is the key.
