In a single month, several brands could easily came and propose their ideas to the public hoping to be liked and one of them is this newly opened dessert house in Pantai Indah Kapuk: PUNGOPANG!

I love writing posts like this and trust me when I write this kind of entry, it takes me way shorter, less thinking required and I can be a little more expressive! I am not sure why but most of the times writing the restaurant review posts could be pretty tiring and needed extra effort, especially when I am NOT in the mood.

¿POR QUÉ NO? JAKARTA

¿Por Que No? just opened for public two days ago (as this post is written) and it’s the newest addition to the list of Tapas restaurants in Jakarta. Locating on the 5th floor of De Ritz building in Menteng, this restaurant is surely a unique one. Why is that? Keep on reading.

I attended their pre-opening dinner invitation last week, but rest assure as the opinions stated here remains my own. First of all, you’ll be greeted by this huge signboard made of colored pencils crafting the word “POR QUE NO”, for those who don’t know, Por Que No? is actually the spanish for “why not?”. If I knew on the first place that the space would be that minimalist & chicly designed, I think, it’s indeed “¿Por Que No?”. I just love the simplicity of the dining area as it’s covered in glass but well air-conditioned making it just the perfect venue to have your lunch (and that red chairs OMG). The sky was actually getting moody on my visit and for some reasons, I love the ambiance even more! I think glass architecture's always win-win. There’s just something sexy and lovely about it.

SERBARASO JAKARTA

Good news: I think I just found the best place to have Padang cuisine in Jakarta, and it’s located just near where I live.

Food has a very essential role in my life and I’m always excited whenever I have the chance to talk about local cuisine (which I don’t always get the chance to). I really don’t know how to explain it and don’t want to come with excuses, but I just haven’t got that big of a chance to write posts about the local F&B scene, but as far as I concern, here I am writing one.

ROBA YAKITORI MALL TAMAN ANGGREK - JAKARTA

They say it’s better late than never ever and in this case, it’s me coming to Roba Yakitori. Hey, it’s not that I’m THAT late, it’s just a few months after it’s first opened for public – in my defense, I’ve been wandering around lately – but I finally made a little space for their beautiful yakitori! Oops that's a teaser already!

THE PROHIBITION JAKARTA

One of the most frequently asked questions (faq) is “how do I found out about new places?”, well the answer for that could be quite various, there are times when my Instagram friends tagged me on a picture uploaded by the restaurants, quite accidentally found it when I was around a certain area (let’s say PIK) and eventually remembering, from the food bloggers (because we do share info) and from the non food bloggers (friends and families)... and in this case, this one, my friend first told me about this.
