I am starting to take PIK more seriously, I used to think that PIK is somewhere that I casually go to have cute meals or to try new stuff but never something that I would repeat or even thought about repeating (only several that I did), if you've been reading my blog posts lately, I have been so thrilled of the fact that more and more new restaurants are opening and most of them happen to leave good impression to me.

Welcoming the newest addition to the never ending PIK's boulevard of heavenly pleasures: Saine Daise.
I AM PISSED!

Those times when I visited a certain restaurant, taste their food and felt like certain restaurants deserve more traffic, and that’s the case with this particular restaurant that I am reviewing: PIK Seafood at Elang Laut Pantai Indah Kapuk.

Seriously, this is one of the most underrated restaurants in Jakarta! Must admit I was just a little skeptical when I first entered the restaurant as it was empty and me and my brother were the only two guests. We wanted to fulfil our major craving for good crabs so here we were having our own crab party. I’ve personally heard a friend of mine praising the crabs here so I guess it should worth a damn try.
Getting here was rather easy, it’s actually located just across the street of the cute Itadakimasu, just notice a big “PIK Seafood” signage and logo (picture below) and you’re on the right spot. The interior and ambiance of the restaurant was very simple and yet pretty proper for a crab specialist restaurant. The only downside about the restaurant was the horribly designed menu, they should really changed the entire book menu as the fact is, the food looked waaaay better in real presentation than in pictures.
This will be a short review about this newly opened Japanese restaurant in Pantai Indah Kapuk named Mottomoo. I wasn’t exactly in the mood to take a lot of pictures as I went here right after I landed on the airport from Bangkok (more stories about Bangkok coming very soon!).
Went to this new eatery in Pantai Indah Kapuk a couple of days ago because I heard they provide Gyu Tan Don here and I am such a sucker of that. Talking about the food trend, Gyu Tan Don is big right now and you can easily find an appetizing looking GTD in Jakarta and it's probably near you, like this one if you live around Pluit or PIK area.
Say hi to Northpole!!! The newest dessert joint in Pantai Indah Kapuk!
Went to this newly opened humble restaurant for lunch yesterday (not so humble anymore when you actually open in PIK) and I couldn't help not blogging about this because the experience was just good, okay, so far I have been spoiling what supposed to be the 'surprise' on each of my entries! As I am typing this, they're currently 5 days old, so it's very very new.
I don't really put that much care and attention when I first heard that little chaotic situation between this particular Ying Thai that I am reviewing with the one in Melbourne. There has been some "he said she said" thing going on, but I chose not to give a damn, because honestly, what I really care about is the food and that's what makes me feel happy.
Say hello to Milkbar! The newest joint in Pantai Indah Kapuk as well as its sibling, The Playroom. Both Playroom and Milkbar opened on the same day but aside from that, both is completely different when it comes to concept and product (going to do a separated post on The Playroom PIK soon), but this time I am going to be talking about Milkbar!
