Ever since I posted about BRUN on my Instagram, miraculously until today people have been asking me questions about BRUN and tagged me their BRUN purchases, and I am super thankful about it, simply for trusting what I always recommend you guys! This blog is written to talk about BRUN in details while recommending you my personal favorites!
This post is supposed to be the throwback to my wonderful Autumn trip to Japan and that time I explored the Aichi prefecture, which I highly believe will soon be one of Japan's hottest travel destinations. I don't even know how to choose the proper words to explain how beautiful Aichi is, or maybe that's the word... beautiful! Japan is naturally such a gifted country, and nobody can deny that, aside from the four seasons, the versatile charm, travelling to Japan is always addicting because no matter how many times or where I go around Japan, I feel like there are still so many things to unfold, it's almost like you can't even measure how deep you know Japan, but in the same time I don't need to, I just know that Japan is my happy place and I am always happy to be back!!! Just in time that I was there during my favorite season of the year: AUTUMN, the scenery was even more beautiful and the weather was just perfect!

I have heard that Tanpopo has improved its performance, because quite frankly, my very first visit wasn't exactly the most memorable, but you know what? Even as soon as I revisited Tanpopo and the moment I arrived after the last time, the vibe itself was quite different in a good way, but not sure why, but anyway, here for the food!
I think it was 2017 where the cheese tea trend started to get really big (even though brands like KOI/Share Tea have started it long way back) and 2018 is just the expansion of the trend with more and more indie brands coming and major brands releasing their cheese tea menus, okay to be completely frank with you I am almost never interested in cheese tea, as personally I don't see why would you put cheese on drinks (and I am fully aware that's just me), but the visit to Ban Ban changed my perception! Keep reading.
For those who wonder, yes I did take a short hiatus from blogging just because I don't feel like going to the new places or simply writing, two months ago I was in the phase where I was just bored with my blogging activity, I mean I've been blogging for almost six years, and the six years has been a rollercoaster of pretty much everything, I was once in this mood where I was insane in the most diligent way pushing at least one article every single day (sometimes even two), where I was super passionate and diligent in blogging that I would honestly felt sorry for you guys if I don't deliver something, that when the number of my daily readers grow that's the happiest thing that can happen to me, but don't get me wrong, I am not losing my passion or interest towards the business/blogging, I was just bored from working too much and needing that hiatus where I didn't feel the need to do anything blogging related (and I turned down so many job offers) and so far, 2018 has been a good travelling year for me. I have so many photos and stories to share and I'll probably start doing it now as this firey feeling is suddenly here again, I am so in the mood to write something, express my feeling and shit!
Birdman is a Japanese restaurant owned by the Immigrant group (which also heads ventures like Monolog, Immigrant, Olivier, Garcon and more), and Birdman been around for quite some time (if I'm not mistaken, almost a year now), but a couple of weeks ago I finally got the chance to visit this restaurant for the first time and sharing the experience to you here. Birdman is located at PARC 18 SCBD, at the same area where Bistecca and The Dutch are.

Flip Burger just launched their CIK'N items, which is basically their fried chicken items! I have been a fan of their burgers ever since they launched their first outlet in Senopati and it's nice to see the business grows to this giant with more and more outlets coming. I came to their launching event yesterday at Flip Burger Kelapa Gading and disclaimer: in no way this blog post is an ad, this will be a short blog post with brief review.
Is it really another February on another year? Wow.

Call this the month of love or whatever your illusion is telling you but I just want to keep it damn real, I believe everyday is a blessing and needed to be grateful at, but each month is just the same month, I do like July and December best tho! July because it's where my birthday is (sometimes I even think that birthday's nothing special) and December because I love the spirit of Christmas in my heart, even though reality is the Christmas vibe in Jakarta is lacking spirit by time.

I believe you should grow love each and everyday in your life, not necessarily because it's freaking Valentine's day and you act like you have this burst of love this month. I might previously open this blog post with sweet-sweet words but lately I just want to keep it real, and by time I've learned that nothing in this world that's stronger than the power of love, and when I say love I don't refer to the love for your partners, but as simple as that little act of kindness like helping others, the love for friendship, relatives, your parents and more.
To love is being kind, and truth is sometimes no matter how kind you are towards some people, some might just want to take advantage of you or take you for granted in the first place, but your anger should never be the reason why you want to stop being nice, otherwise you've changed. I'd take being happy than cool any freaking time.
If you visit Bali regularly and happens to be a fan of ribs, I believe this should be no stranger to you, and I am glad that they decided to take a leap of faith and open in (I really wanna say Jakarta) somewhere near Jakarta, yes, the famous Hog Wild with Chef Bruno is now opening in Gading Serpong! Of course I believe you guys probably wonder whether it will be as good as their Bali outlet? Keep scrolling to read the review, I am going to keep it simple yet straight to the point.
I went to Nutrive Benecol's event a while ago at The Hall - Senayan City, and as you guys probably know, Nutrive Benecol is one of the leading products by Kalbe that's targeted to people who has cholesterol and to those who want to maintain the level of cholesterol in their system! The older I am now the more I realize how cholestrol is not something to underestimate, it's the prime trigger of the heart disease and cancer, which last year alone caused the death of 2,6 million people! 29% of the 2,6 million comes from southeast Asia, with Europe being the largest victims.
Even tho Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim citizens in the world, but I just love how festive we are with Christmas celebration (even though not as extra as Singapore) and lately I've seen how malls are now almost 'competing' to decorate their venue with sparkling Christmas ornaments and such, and of course restaurants are making special dining sets for Christmas, and you know me, I love giving you guys recommendations on where to go to celebrate Christmas dinner with your couple, your family, your bitch, your sugar-daddy I really don't care, it's the food and the good love-making that counts really.
One thing that's funny to me is the fact that the more digital the life that we live in, the more I realize that the photos that popped on my Instagram feed are getting more and more analog with film-like feel and even more amazing, the fact that analog photography is kinda re-living and getting more fans, you don't know just happy I am!
The major food event, Taste of The World, is happening at PIK Avenue and I was invited to come check out the event on its opening day and blogging my experience for you guys, the event is here to stay until October 1st 2017 at their Main Atrium, that means you still have 6 days to come and see what they have in store.
I am just uber excited to blog about this restaurant that I visited LAST MONTH in Bangkok (really can't believe it's been a month tho) and it's just three more days before the restaurant opens in Jakarta and of course yours truly got the privilege to sample their best selling menus on a private tasting lunch two weeks ago, but disclaimer first, this blog post will be the mix of my experience trying the original Greyhound Cafe in Bangkok too and I can really say that after coming from the private tasting lunch, the presentation of the food here and there was exactly the same, as for the taste and impressions? Keep on scrolling.
It was an impromptu visit with friends to this newly opened (and highly talked about) restaurant when I didn't pack my guns with me, so shoutout to my dear friend for allowing me to use his camera.
Disclaimer: if you're expecting a full blown review of their restaurant, this won't be one. I already ate prior coming here and initially just wanted to go check out the newly opened bar, grab some drinks, nibbles and leave.
WHAT'S UP JULY?! A couple of days ago I went to have a coffee date with my good friend at this newly opened coffee shop called Harapan Djaya that's located around Panglima Polim area, precisely across Woodpecker Coffee. Technically this coffee shop has almost nothing to do with the movie Filosofi Kopi (nor the setting) which is coming next week, but one of the owners of this coffee shop, Muhammad Aga, starred in the movie. I honestly can't wait for the movie because I absolutely love the first one!
So last night I went to one of Jakarta's biggest annual event: PEKAN RAYA JAKARTA (PRJ) 2017, I have missed the event for two years and I think it's good to be check out what's in store this year, especially it's their 50th anniversary this year! To be honest I kinda expected something different, but not really sure what it is either, ok sorry I am getting so unclear but I hope you know what I mean.
