The highly anticipated Devon Cafe from Sydney is NOW OPENING in Jakarta, I have been waiting for this to open for quite some time and it finally did!!! Went to have a quick lunch here earlier today, most likely to feed my curiosity on whether their Jakarta branch would perform as good as their Sydney one!

I went to Nutrive Benecol's event a while ago at The Hall - Senayan City, and as you guys probably know, Nutrive Benecol is one of the leading products by Kalbe that's targeted to people who has cholesterol and to those who want to maintain the level of cholesterol in their system! Confirming the floating news, after the 4-year contract with Luke Mangan ends, what was Salt Grill is now replaced with a new concept from the group: ALTITUDE GRILL, a classic Western steakhouse that's ready to grill and you some high quality proteins! Following the existing success of their Pamulang, Ciputat and Cibubur outlets, recently Kedai Keibar (aka one of the surviving Indomie cafes in Jakarta) opened its latest venture in Depok. I love Indomie but I don't really go to Indomie cafes to have them because I can't stand the long queue, and I don't think it's worth it to wait hours just to have Indomie, but their creations are quite addicting, kinda like an exception.

Recently PHD Indonesia just launched their latest addition to its evergrowing and impressive series of pizza creations, and this time they keep it lowkey awesome by keeping what they've known best: their bites crust but this time they're doubling everything hence the DOUBLE CHEESY BITES and in this entry I am also introducing you their latest pizza variant, Pepperoni Jalapeno and their bottled drinks which I paired the double cheesy bites with.

You are more than welcomed to pair this Pepperoni Jalapeno pizza with your favorite crust (original, stuffed, sausage and the currently launched double cheesy bites crust), you can also pair the double cheesy bites crust with your favorite pizza variant but do note that for this particular crust, the serving only comes in regular size (6 slices).
So what's so special about the double cheesy bites? The fact that you are getting the cheese and chicken sausage on each bites! Double the calorie but who cares when it's double the yum! It's awesome that you can get this delivered to you with just one call away, you know the drill you know the number: 1500-600!

I once made my list of the best coffee shops in Jakarta, and almost too ashamed to admit that due to the amateur writing and photography skill it's almost criminal. The post was made in 2013, back then I often use the term "the best" to a list that was technically covers all coffee shops in Jakarta, so it's not best-best, but this boy right here is all grown up, has his mind and sense opened to the F&B scene (in a way better educated by experience), is realizing that Starbucks' coffee is not the best best (I always go for the fraps nowadays), and is now taking better pictures! So I guess this post should be the more reliable one.

Three weeks away from Jakarta and the F&B scene is going crazy rapid! My radar noticed six new restaurants opening that I haven't visited. You know I've mentioned so many times how I love visiting new places, but it's an exception when it comes to travelling, OMG I obviously prefer travelling and breathe that different air, I don't know why but I feel pretty stressed with all the works in town, I really need to change how I see about the city or else I'll be very bored and lost interest about it, it feels like this city is my favorite "eating" and "working" site, and not more than that, but hey, positively thinking, the "eating" part is not bad :""").

Went to this newly opened cafe yesterday for lunch with Cindy and since we both had good experience, I wanted to blog this asap, well not really, it's because I am those people who manage to go here earlier hence I want to blog about it before everyone else does HAHAHA! No lah joking, probably half true, it's just that I am always excited when it comes to visiting new places and be the one who promotes them at the early stage, that's probably certain percentage of happiness there is for me. Before I start, I just want to tell you that it doesn't matter if you blog something fast or not, make sure you make a bloody good post and you can tell when it's good, it's like you can feel the writer's passion on the writing and not ONLY for the sake of reviewing, not to mention, take freaking good photos and chill on the editing, don't hurt someone else's eyes.

Went to this newly opened cafe in Pantai Indah Kapuk just yesterday just because I couldn't stand the cuteness when I saw their pics on my friend's Instagram! Sweet Hut is a Malaysia-franchise joint and brought up by the group that managed some of PIK's most favorite ventures such as Agantea, Broaster's Chicken, Karaoke PIK and Sinsin. They're only 1 week old and still on their grand opening days, but from what I see, I think they already have some loving customers, or at least curious hungry people! PS: their outlet was very easy because of its eye-catching appearance! Red and white color, almost festive. It's located just beside the PIK Karaoke in the Ruko Cordoba area.

For some, the idea of staycation is a little insane and fortune-wasting. I have friends asking me why I love to splurge by staying at hotels in town while you have your own home. I honestly don't know the the exact reason why I love it but I know enough I don't need one, it's just that I like it and I love trying new places which I'll eventually take as "experience". I have been doing quite a few staycations lately but I haven't gotten the chance to blog everything due to the lack of time and I am super duper busy lately, but for you my lovely readers I'm sitting in front of the lappy while becoming a night owl and doing this post! Just recently, Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta launched a new pop-up social venue called "BLU". Located in what originally was "Satoo Garden", this new restaurant/club/lounge is going to be the 'it' spot for social people.
