The brown sugar milk drink is by far THE MOST happening F&B trend this year, more and more foreign brands are opening (and I heard more, soon) and to be frank, I am excited HAHA!
I am a firm believer that most health problems are related to our digestive system, this is stemmed from two years ago when I had the worst case of gastric pain, I literally took all the blood test that a lab could possibly handle, cost me millions, all that to know that my gastric acid was in a pretty terrible state that I need to stop consuming certain food, work out (and work less so that I'm not stressed out), and from that I believe that our digestive system and gastric are almost like the door to what you're feeling about your body, if you don't treat them well they can fight you back, but if you take very good care they will help you get through the day, or even your life.

Japanese cuisine will always have a special place in my heart, and just for so many reasons, but out of the many, one has got to be how the best things are best enjoyed raw and sometimes they're so raw and fresh they just speak for themselves! Out of the many Japanese restaurants opening in Jakarta, one of my top favorites at the moment has got to be Sushi Matsu, they recently opened their second outlet, following the elder, existing and successful first outlet in Menteng!

If you ask me to name one of my favorite Indonesian restaurants in Jakarta, easily Warung MJS is the one I have in mind among others, and unconsciously my mind particularly directed itself to their Ayam Setan, super spicy yet so good! Incase you haven't read my review of Warung MJS, it's HERE.
This has got to be one of the MOST happening drinks at the very moment! Ever since I posted this on my Instagram I have been getting at least 40-50 tags every single day *brb making invoice for Kopi Soe* - they need to start cutting me A CHECK, lol just kidding!

I have been raving about this shabu-shabu restaurant A LOT and I guess it's no longer a secret that you guys know how much I LOVE Momo Paradise! Point of this blog post is to let you guys know that MOMO PARADISE is now expanding to the Central and now in PLAZA INDONESIA YAAAAY finally the closest to where I live.
I think it's totally undeniable that instant noodle is an important part of everyone's life, you you and you whoever is reading this right now (including who's typing this right now *ahem*), so the question is: "are you a noodle soup person or are you the fried noodle person?". I am a little bit of both!

Special for this entry, I am going to be talking about fried noodle (mie goreng) and for those who haven't heard of this before, let me introduce (and review) you guys to this new product from Mie Sedaap Instant: Mie Goreng rasa Mi Ayam Istimewa! Lately Mie Sedaap has been pushing new products to the market, and so far my response has been positive, let's just say I am a fan of their Mie Sedaap Tasty (click to read).
So what's inside each pack? Pretty common: instant noodle with various blend of ingredients, soy sauce, chilli, dried spring onion, but one that really stands out is their fried shallot! So crunchy, fragrant and considered generously for a single serving. Always yes for extra flavor and texture play.
If you ask me whether how the noodle texture is compared to its peers, well I believe from what I noticed, their noodle is slightly wider and when you cook it perfectly, it's chewy, moist, hence easier to SLUUURP! Another thing that differs Mie Sedaap Mi Goreng is their soysauce, while most instant noodle tend to include sweet soysauce, theirs is the savory-salty soy sauce! I highly recommend you to cook the noodle at least 3,5-4 minutes for the best state, but really if you like your noodle softet, that's totally up to you!

Aside from that, the amount of other ingredient (seasoning, soy sauce, chilli sauce, veges, fried shallot) is definitely proper, even some people don't eat spicy stuff so they might eliminate the chili, some don't consume fried shallot, so it really depends.
My mom helped me with the shoot and she help cooked the fried noodle for me...AND everything that comes out of her hands I most likely LOVE!!! Even when I didn't ask, she always add in the extra kindness in the form of fried egg! Fried noodle + fried egg = MAJOR YES!
Firm yet chewy, ingredient and soy sauce covers the noodle well! I really can have this at all times, and not to mention the plate licking aftermath when no one sees LOL!
Is this eatandtreats approved? For sure! What's not to love from a delicious, satisfying, tasty, packed-with-flavor instant noodle that you can double or triple if you're really hungry! LOL. Mie Sedaap has been more and more serious with their products recently, maybe something to bring with you when you travel?

If you’re an avid fan of rumput laut (seaweed) snack raise your hands and also you’re on the right entry because I am going to share to you guys about one of my favorite seaweed snacks on the market right now, and that is Mamasuka Rumput Laut and here I'm also giving my two cents about the product!
Following the success of their Apple Pie, McDonald's Indonesia just recently launched their newest addition to the Apple Pie family: APPLE BANANA PIE! In this entry, I am going to make a short and brief review of this particular product, which I believe is going to be trending real real soon!
Excited to share you about this newly opened Korean restaurant in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) which is currently one of my top favorites in the neighborhood, and it's originated from the ginseng country itself! Ladies and gents, I give you GOOBNE! Korea's uber popular oven-roasted chicken specialist! In Korea alone, they already have more than 1000 outlets, not only can smell some freshly roasted chicken, but money as well! Just kidding HAHA! Their Jakarta outlet is their first South East Asia branch, should we feel honored? hmm...

Anyway for those who are wondering about the pronounciation, if you read "gupne", so far you're right! Big Korean celebrities like Girls Generation (SNSD) were their brand ambassador, following EXO which is their current, I found that it's such a smart move as the KPOP culture is highly influential not only in Korea alone, but most Asian countries, including me several years ago, I was a huge-huge fan of SNSD! #proudSONE

Okay, before you guys start wondering why I keep on referring to "oven-roasted" chicken it's because you'll find nothing but chickens that's cooked in oven roasting method so NONE fried! Being oven-roasted, you can believe that the meals here are a tad healthier than them being fried and lower in calorie too, but maybe not after all the cheesy goodness HAHAHA! When you dine-in you can see their TV commercial in loop, they're showing you the roasting process, seems so delightful.

Rita Shark Blood - IDR 69k
This is actually a very simple drink made from Blue Curacao syrup and berry 'blood' (but sorry I freaking missed the blood action shot since I didn't realize that the blood would come from the shark's mouth as you pick it up), but it's so refreshing and the berry puree really lifted the whole drink's flavor and freshness, sweet without being overly sweet, fresh, fruity, a nice thirst quencher for the day!
Goobne Original
Goobne Deep Cheese - IDR 179k
This was one of the highlight of the restaurant as well as one of the best sellers! The cheese is this mix of cheddar and blue cheese! Don't let the picture fool ya as it's way bigger in real life as this is their real serving portion (equal to one whole chicken), the chickens look fried don't they, but nope they're all OVEN ROASTED (I repeat!), and oh my goodness, the texture and consistency of the chicken is PERFECT! Not greasy, not oily, so freaking tender and fragrant! The cheese powder were generously given but somehow on the right amount for the serving, topping each and every chicken! You know I'm never the biggest fan of blue cheese, but somehow the amount of cheese mixture is spot on: tasty savory with a hint of sweet! If you fancy cheese then this might be what you HAVE TO order here!
Goobne Pepper Crispy - IDR 169k
Now MY FAVORITE! Another highlighted menu and another best-selling menus here, well I mean look at that damn golden crispy (yet moist) chicken, and I can tell you that they taste as beautiful as they look! The coating is crispy and altogether fragrant, the pepper seasoning is almost like this blend of mild pepper and bell pepper but if you want more kick the serving comes with their signature sauce and fresh pickled cabbage, but honestly with seasoning that good I don't need any additional seasoning, maybe I'm always the non-sauce type, because when it comes to food I found that sometimes less is more.
Half and Half - IDR 189k
Their "Half & Half" comes in this pairing that you can customize, I had the Goobne Original and Goobne Volcano, the Goobne Original is literally the original recipe, the base recipe or should I say the 'OG' version of their oven-roasted chicken while of course as most restaurants normally apply, Volcano being the spicy beast! Even though it's less on seasoning, I found that the Goobne Original pretty tasty.
Volcano Cheese Tteobokki - IDR 89k
This dish consist of noodle (curly type), odeng, cabbage, tteobokki, and generous cheese topping (I notice two kinds of cheese in this dish, one being mozarella), the sauce was this mix of sweet and spicy Gokchujang sauce which I found beautiful for this kind of dish, especially since you have the tteobokki and cheese to match! Everyone's take on spicy might differ, but I found this not too spicy, but not exactly the mildest either, the tteobokki was cooked perfectly, hence the beautiful density!
tteobokki and odeng!
Cheese Dak Galbi - IDR 179k
I understand that most of the menus here are meant to be shared due to the portion, and here's another one if you're feeling a bit extra with some cheesy actions! The dish consist of stir-fry chicken marinated with their signature sweet & spicy Gokjujang sauce with toppings like sweet potato, onion, tteobokki and cabbage!

Cheese Fondue Chicken - IDR 189k
When I look at this dish, somehow I believe that this is going to soon be their best-selling menus here not only for the flavor, but the fun of it too, I don't know just something about rolling cheese dishes that's giving me this ASMR feel, just satisfying in a way! For this dish, they're using boneless thigh chicken that's glazed in sweet and spicy sauce, topped with almond and on this three kind of cheese (unmelted when served). The cheese was such a delight to the sweet and spicy chicken, complements one another very well, altogether just as mouthwatering as it looks, scroll for more cheese porn!

None of the food was disappointing, while currently typing this, I am actually craving for their Pepper Chicken and Cheese Fondue Chicken, based on my first visit here, I feel like quality speaks here, and when it comes to quality, rest assure even if the KPOP trend died down as quality means having loyal following, and I believe I am one now. I hope they can keep up with the quality here, while their food might not be the cheapest, but keep it mind most of the food here are meant to be shared! Goobne is defo worth a visit!!!

Sushi Hiro group just can't stop with the surprises, can they? Following successful ventures like Sushi Hiro, Sushi Go and Santhai, now they're adding Kanpai to the list, and I am pretty sure that they're going to be a hit soon! Kanpai is located just few shops away from Sushi Hiro, both align at Rukan Garden House and should be easily noticeable from the eye-catching exterior and neon lights beaming through the glass! I think the name itself already gave you hint on the concept of this restaurant, yes it's heavy on the Japanese vibe with Sumibiyaki, Izakaya Bar concept!
There are a lot of things to do out of town if you fancy something with different vibe, or simply when you're tired of the town, well when it comes to me, I like to do things that revolve around food, so a little family getaway to a restaurant with different vibe (and view) could do much to me. A few weeks ago, I went with my mom and dad to Bumi Sampireun, a new restaurant owned by the same people who own Talaga Sampireun and located in Vimala Hills, Puncak.
February 14th 2018: celebrating Valentine's Day at Tokyo DisneySea, the place that a lot claim to be the happiest place on earth (wait that might be Disneyland) but really any day spent at Disney resorts is uplifting and joyful, definitely one of the most unforgettable highlight of the trip!
Last week I attended the exclusive launch of Greenfields' first yogurt line: Greenfields Yogurt at Almond Zucchini Jakarta. Being wildly used for tons of coffee shops in town, Greenfields has got to be everyone's favorite milk brand (at least me), there must a reason for that and only one word to describe that: QUALITY.
The pioneer of the legit one-priced sushi in town, Sushi Go, just recently opened their latest outlet in Grand Indonesia and guess who's freaking excited? ME (and I'm sure a lot of you too!), this is officially their second outlet after the well-accepted first outlet at Dotonburi PIK Avenue!
If you visit Bali regularly and happens to be a fan of ribs, I believe this should be no stranger to you, and I am glad that they decided to take a leap of faith and open in (I really wanna say Jakarta) somewhere near Jakarta, yes, the famous Hog Wild with Chef Bruno is now opening in Gading Serpong! Of course I believe you guys probably wonder whether it will be as good as their Bali outlet? Keep scrolling to read the review, I am going to keep it simple yet straight to the point.
For the last two years, I have seen a rapid growth for healthy indulgence and I am pretty sure that all-things-healthy are going to have more recognition as the years roll, I just feel like people nowadays tend to understand more how important it is to consume healthier food and the idea of you-are-what-you-eat! At the moment I might not be the master of it as my job requires me to sample various feast, but align with what I am saying, in this entry I'll briefly review the newly opened healthy dessert cafe in Pantai Indah Kapuk: IGNASIA'S (or Cake Me Away by Ignasia).
I know it's been a while since I hosted this lunch event but I am still super duper excited to share the story to you, well simply because it's too good to keep it for myself, first of all, special thanks for my blogger and social media influencer friends who made the effort to come and spent some time to have lunch here.
Not long after KFC shook us with their KFC Chochicks, Texas Fried Chicken just recently launched their newest product and one that I'm highly excited about but don't make me compare this to KFC's because both are totally different in terms of concept and flavor, but since I am a classic savory guy who loves to pair my chicken with rice, so this might be the one that fits my preference better.
I just returned from Jogja and if you've been following me on Instagram and watched my Instagram Stories I was very sick hours before I departed from Jogja, my head felt very lightweighted (I've never been drunk before maybe that's what it feels like), sight was a bit blurry and body temperature was rising, short to say I wasn't in the best state but thankfully as I am writing this blog post I've recovered very well in two days.

Yesterday I paid a short visit to Museum MACAN (not MAnis dan CANtik) but Museum of Modern And Contemporary Art in Nusantara that's just recently opened and have been operating for several days as this post is written, and the museum aims to be showcasing art collections from local and international artists. Many of you ask me where Museum MACAN is, well to actually click on the location will actually help but I guess most of you are really to lazy to do that, so the museum's located on the 5th floor of Wisma KBR, Kebon Jeruk, not too far from RCTI.

With entrance fee of IDR 50k/person (IDR 40k - elders, IDR 30k - children), visitors can enjoy around 90 artworks that's beautifully placed in a 4000 meter square venue, and I notice there are four big categories here: Bumi (earth), Manusia (human), Kampung Halaman (hometown), then Kemerdekaan (independence), followed by Bentuk & Isi (shape and content) and Racikan Global (global recipe). To be completely honest, I am not an art expert so I guess this post will be more like a picture blog post where I show you snapshots from my visit to the museum.

Yayoi Kusama!!!
The one that's been flooding my timeline is of course, the Infinity Room by Yayoi Kusama where she always comes with various ideas no matter where she runs her piece! Each visitor will be given 40 seconds to enter the room (but honestly it felt way less than that like 20/30 seconds). When I checked my inbox earlier today I guess around 10 people sent me pictures of how long the queue for the Infinity Room is and lucky for me there was no queue that time LOL!

NOTE: Because of the super high interest towards the infinity room, do come around 3 because at certain days the queue closes at 4 PM and other days at 5 PM! Do check them or contact them personally for details, otherwise your trip here (especially if this is your main interest) would not be pleasant.
Tour de Museum!
This is shady but I love it!
Andy Warhol!
21st century human!
Right after the exit you'll find a small merchandise store where you can shop and help them. They are a non-profit organization so I guess they rely on sponsor funds and these items to help.
I may not be someone with the biggest knowledge of art nor can I say I have the biggest interest towards it, but going here was kinda fun and I really did explore and see what they have in store and I AM SUPER GLAD for the arrival of Museum MACAN because as a visitor myself and based on my visits to museum around the world I found that, reality is, the location and the venue became one of the main reasons why people like me don't go to museums, there are museums with no air-conditioner, there are museums where I feel like the artworks not well care taken, there are museums which vibe just doesn't really give me the impression to go back. Not everyone may agree but that's my opinion solely as a visitor (not as someone who's an art expert) and Museum MACAN came with comfort and I like it. The artworks showcased here are beautiful and I guess regardless the different style, the different approach, the different narrative on each, there will always people who understand and appreciate them (or short to say, a fan).

The current exhibition will last until March 2018, still plenty of time!
