There are a lot of things to do out of town if you fancy something with different vibe, or simply when you're tired of the town, well when it comes to me, I like to do things that revolve around food, so a little family getaway to a restaurant with different vibe (and view) could do much to me. A few weeks ago, I went with my mom and dad to Bumi Sampireun, a new restaurant owned by the same people who own Talaga Sampireun and located in Vimala Hills, Puncak.
This post would be the third time that I am actually talking about Sushi Hiro, the main reason why each of my visit needs a good proper blog post is because they always have something new to offer: slightly difference ambiance, but mostly the new menus that are not only delicious but also Instagram Worthy! The F&B business in Jakarta can get very tricky and very extreme to the point where changing trends, opening and deceased outlets are almost monthly 'scene', that's why most restaurants (unless they're crazy good) needs to be creative, keep up with the qualities in order to survive, and Sushi Hiro is hands down, really one of the most successful ones in town, and frankly speaking, everytime I see the long queues in front of their restaurant, I can't help not to think about the amount of money they're making everyday (lol but I sometimes did).

I think the topic about money always interests people and the reason I feel that way is because as a blogger myself and throughout the journey, the question about my earning has been one of the most frequently asked, including the question on how can I afford certain things and travels. I remember having this one reader who violently in a way asking me "who the fuck I actually am and whether I was born from a wealthy family because I constantly travel".
Vietnamese cuisine might not be as popular if you compare that to Western or Japanese cuisine, but I honestly don't think the comparison is needed as Vietnamese cuisine is very different than their "peers". I like Vietnamese cuisine, but there are not many Vietnamese restaurants in Jakarta, and until I actually met Monviet for the very first time, it was a "like" converted to a "love"
I suffocated from seeing Aqua S pretty ice creams on my Instagram explore tab, but four months ago, knowing that I was going to Sydney, for whatever reason, I HAVE TO GO TO AQUA S. This might be super duper hyperbolic, but you don't know how happy I was when I actually made it to Aqua S and with my very own eyes, the most beautiful swirl I've ever seen in my life, and completed with the cotton candy, it's almost like an outfit for the ice cream, like it's magically meant to be with the soft serve.
Now I have this thing with writing my travel diaries, it is to blog about it as fast as I can, because you know, it’s nearly impossible to blog about my travel stories when I am back in town and “attacked” by my other projects in town. I am wrote this blog post literally above the ground, in the air, on my way to Bangkok, Thailand.

Afterall, the not-so-secret Blogging success tips are doing what you love to do + commitment.
HELLO FROM BALI!!! Yay!!!!!

If you’re wondering the purpose of me going to Bali, well aside from having fun (of course), I am here to bring the lucky winner from the Instagram contest that was held by Rinku and me a couple of weeks ago. The contest theme was “F&B on table” and in two weeks, we gained around 600 submissions and Karlina is the lucky winner selected to embark on a 3D2N paid expenses trip to Bali, which as this post is written, am currently here, laying on my uber comfy bed in my gorgeous hotel room in Sofitel Nusa Dua Bali and writing this post.

A few days ago I went to this newly opened coffee shop in Sunter called Atomic Espresso Bar. Thought I wanna briefly share my experience with you here.

Atomic Espresso Bar is located in a Sunter neighborhood located just behind Satya Negara hospital. For your information it’s a very well known hospital and medical center with specialization in nerve problems. My family is a loyal customer to the hospital and it’s really recommended.
Good news everyone: HELLO KITTY CAFE is officially opening in Jakarta! Pantai Indah Kapuk will be the arrival land of the famous establishment, precisely at Rukan Crown Golf, beside (and on the second level of) Tsubohachi restaurant, both restaurants are owned by the same owners.
Sushi Sen is currently the talk of the town! I had lunch here earlier today with my dear friends and now sharing my experience with you!

My favorite bakery and patisserie, Sophie Authentique is finally spreading the wing of their business to Senopati! They’re located at the busy Jalan Cikajang street to be exact.
My life routine requires me to be mobile all the time, and stay connected to the world.

Well, in this case, the internet world.
Not much to say but a lot to be grateful about! Totally one of the most astonishing moments among my blogging adventure! Thank you God for this amazing chance and cheers to many more good things to come <3. AMEN!

Special thanks for Hell's Kitchen Indonesia! The taping was really fun <3.

Ola my dearest most lovable readers, yes I am talking to you!

I have been constantly travelling for the past three weeks and I am sorry not sorry for kind of abandoning this blog for a while. I always bring my laptop wherever I go, but most of the times, when the night comes, the tireness strikes and all you want to do is just to take a quick shower and go straight to bed...and on repeat along the trip.
I've been anticipatedly waiting for the arrival of Authentique's second branch for a while and knowing that they're opening today, I wasted no more time and oh-so-ready digging in to what they have in store! I am such a sucker for bakeries, patisseries, boulangeries or whatever you name it that has to do with breads, cakes and desserts. I have been the first Authentique once and the place was petite, and I mean really petite, but for some reasons I sort of like the heartwarming feel to it, not to mention that particular outlet was also literally warm ._.
A few days ago I got invited by Artotel Thamrin Jakarta to join the food bloggers weekend staycation and one of the activities on the itinerary was this cocktail making class, as well as introducing their new rooftop bar which currently isn't yet opening so I really got the first watch here and the first to share not only the venue in general, but my experience as well. Their very own rooftop bar is called BART: Bar at The Roof Top, located on the 7th level of the hotel and it's scheduled to officially open for public this Friday (October 17th). If you noticed the blank canvases on the photo above well I have a story for that as well, so just keep reading :).
In this tutorial, I am going to be showing you the easy and simple way to achieve that signature VSCO look on Photoshop as I received tons of requests to do this tutorial! Basically only three main steps that you need to follow and we're trying to achieve the T3 preset tone that would transform your photos like this:
I have told you guys so many times how I am so amazed and overwhelmed by the number of new dining places opening in Jakarta, but truth be told, not a lot of them are actually 'great' or even close to 'good', the urge of needing a good place to dine is incredibly imperative and in a sense... stressful *sigh*, but I am beyond glad that there is this new restaurant opening in Plaza Senayan called AW Kitchen by Akira Watanabe. I have personally been waiting for this place to open and just couple of days ago, I had my dinner here, and to know the full story and how I feel about the food and beyond, just keep scrolling baby ;).
