NEW CAFES AND RESTAURANTS JAKARTA - JUNE/JULY 2016

Here you go guys, I have been wanting to make this type of blog post for quite some time and I am finally making it!!! So the thing is, I eat out literally every single day, and the number of new cafes, restaurants and coffee shops opening in Jakarta every month is just cray. Now me? I am a one man show, I am handling this blog technically all by myself from basically coming to the restaurant, taking pictures, editing, writing and even more when I have events to attend, working on my advertorials and many more, and sometimes I could be very worn out and running out of energy & capacity to make all the blog posts for the restaurants, so I came with this idea of making a compilation post every month and I will update it regularly to let you know the new places that are opening in Jakarta.

Anterograde is a new humble cafe that recently opened in Kelapa Gading. My favorite menu here is their short ribs, it was just soft and tender with glazed with this flavorful sauce dressing. Pricing was relatively affordable for nowadays cafe standard.

What I love about Cultivate is the fact that they are not only a coffee shop, but an artisan dessert shop as well, something that I don't see often (if not, never see) in coffee shops in Jakarta. I literally bought  and sample every single desserts that they had here, but turned out my heart fell the most for their fun and deconstructed Mango Sticky Rice dessert. Almost crazy but yes it's delicious.

Louis Doughnuts might just be one of my favorite donut shops at the moment. The donut variants are quite impressive and FUN. My favorites has got to be the Peanut Butter, Red Velvet and the one of a kind Chicken Floss!

There has been mixed reviews about Tea et Al, but on the day of my visit, I swear I had one of the best afternoon tea experience in Jakarta. The tea was fantastic, the tea-infused cakes were fresh, sweet and flavorful, and I found the savory food quite serious, they were cooked and seasoned nicely with nice presentation too. That's my thought, but you have to come here, sample and give your opinions about Tea Et Al.
